Senior Associate – Litigation and Dispute Resolution (Isle of Man)
Salary: Competitive (with transparent, performance-related bonus arrangements)
Location: Isle of Man
Working hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (flexible and/or part-time arrangements considered)
Start date: Immediate (subject to notice period requirements)

The Role
To support its on-going growth, the firm seeks to recruit a Senior Associate to join our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team in the Isle of Man.
This role would suit an Isle of Man qualified advocate (or an experienced common law litigator willing to relocate) with a strong academic background and at least five years’ post-qualification experience gained at a leading litigation or dispute resolution practice.
The successful candidate will work closely with highly regarded litigators and advocates and will enjoy exposure to some of the most interesting and complex disputes in the Isle of Man market.
Your Work
You will advise clients on a broad range of contentious matters, including:
- Commercial and contractual disputes
- Shareholder, partnership and director disputes
- Banking and financial services litigation
- Trust, estate and probate disputes
- Insolvency and restructuring-related litigation
- Professional negligence claims
- Employment and workplace disputes
- Regulatory and disciplinary matters
- Urgent injunctive relief and asset preservation applications
- Debt recovery and enforcement proceedings
- Asset tracing and cross-border disputes
- Mediation, arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution
You will have the opportunity to undertake advocacy work and to appear before the Isle of Man Courts, whilst also working on international matters involving overseas lawyers, insolvency practitioners, fiduciaries and financial institutions.
