About the role
This is an opportunity to work directly with a prominent and experienced Keystone Consultant and with a variety of counsel on a range of commercial litigation matters. The role will include providing direct support to our Consultant, whose core work is in the financial and payment services industry, to include preparation for and attendance at upcoming court hearings in the Commercial Court, the London Circuit Commercial Court and the County Court. The successful candidate will also gain experience in general commercial litigation and insolvency matters.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to advance their legal career towards qualification. Successful completion of the contract may lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

About the applicant
Keystone seeks an applicant who can show initiative, independence, the ability to take instruction, legal skills commensurate with the role and commitment.
The role would suit an applicant with a strong academic background, and a minimum of 6 months’ paralegal experience. Practical experience using Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat will be viewed favourably, as will experience using disclosure review software/tools. The applicant will need to be able to demonstrate that they are organised, have the ability to prioritise and to thrive under pressure.

- Have excellent academics;
- Have passed the LPC with Commendation or Distinction, or passed the SQE 1 at first attempt;
- Be able to demonstrate independent thinking and drive;
- Have a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
