Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor (10PQE+)

Salary: Competitive

Location: Remote working

Working hours: Part-time and flexible hours

Start date: ASAP

Keystone is a firm that was founded upon a desire to do things differently. The original concept was to build a law firm in which lawyers could focus on working with clients, free from management obligations and administrative distractions, whilst being helped by teams of people who are there to support them. The concept endures to this day.

Keystone Law is a multiple award-winning Top 50 UK firm that continues to make waves in the legal sector. Our lawyers are ranked in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, and in November 2020, we were named Law Firm of the Year at the prestigious The Lawyer Awards, the ultimate accolade in the legal profession. In January 2021, Keystone was also crowned Happiest Law Firm of the Year by RollOnFriday. Keystone lawyers are known to be some of the most satisfied and driven individuals in the legal profession.

One of our partners is recruiting for an experienced defendant personal injury solicitor to support her busy insurance litigation practice.  The work involves defending a variety of personal injury claims on behalf of a public liability insurer and its corporate policyholders.

This fee-earning role would suit an applicant with a minimum of 10 PQE, who has extensive experience of acting for public liability insurers and their policyholders. The role will involve mainly defending issued fast track and intermediate track occupiers’ liability claims relating to adults and children, dealing with infant approvals and costs.   Candidates should have sufficient specialist defendant personal injury expertise to manage the files and conduct litigation and court proceedings effectively and efficiently, be comfortable working independently and to a very high standard and have excellent communication and IT skills. The role does not require candidates to generate work.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate wanting the challenge and reward of good quality work within a legal directory-endorsed team, but also the added lifestyle benefits that remote working and flexible hours can provide.
