Imogen is an Associate working with the Employment team on cases involving whistleblowing, discrimination, contract disputes, executive dismissal, and employment litigation. She is also experienced in assisting with drafting court documents, preparing instructions to counsel, interviewing clients, and drafting witness statements.

She works as part of a team assisting both employers and employees, and advises on matters such as settlement agreement negotiations, contract terms, grievances, and data subject access requests.

Before joining Keystone, Imogen gained valuable experience working as an employment paralegal for two UK Top 100 law firms.

Expertise

Imogen assists employers and employees on the drafting of employment contracts and policies, and with advice on disciplinary and grievance procedures, and employment exits.

Experience

  • Advised various individuals on settlement negotiations with their employers, both in advising on the terms of the agreement and conducting without prejudice negotiations in relation to the settlement terms.
  • Drafting of DSARs, grievances, and appeals on behalf of individuals.
  • Reviews of employer staff handbooks, policies, template contracts, and consultancy agreements.
  • Drafting of disciplinary and grievance procedures, including meeting scripts and performance improvement plan-related documents.
  • Assisting both employers and employees on advice relating to restrictive covenants, team moves, and cease and desist letters.

Imogen advises on employment litigation including discrimination, unfair dismissal, and whistleblowing, and supports on cases through drafting court documents, witness statements, and managing disclosure.

Experience

  • Assisted on employment aspects in a claim brought in the ET by the former head of operations for unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, and victimisation.
  • Assisted on cases involving complex whistleblowing, race, sex, and disability discrimination issues.
