Rebecca is a well-established IP, technology and disputes lawyer. She is recognised as a leader in her field in intellectual property, particularly in relation to chemistry-based industries. These include food and beverage, life sciences and pharmaceuticals, household products, cosmetics, FMCG, plastics, and oil and gas, especially where there is crossover with technology.

Rebecca advises on a wide range of matters relating to patents, designs, trade marks, copyright and confidential information, as well as related regulatory issues.

She also advises on IP strategy in multi-professional teams, including with management consultants, patent attorneys and tax specialists, as required, to ensure effective extraction of value from IP.

Rebecca has been consistently ranked as a leading patent and IP litigator since 2008.

  • Advised a FTSE 100 company on design infringement, trade mark licence compliance, copyright infringement and issues relating to misuse of proprietary IP by third parties on marketplace websites.
  • Advised a chemicals company on patent and design licence compliance, regulatory issues and enforcement issues.
  • Advised a leading premium car manufacturer on a counterfeit enforcement programme.
  • Advised a remote asset tracking company on patent, software copyright and design dispute.
  • Advised a financial services company on trade mark strategy and data issues.
  • Advised a shopping channel on patent, copyright, format, data protection, and IP enforcement issues.
  • Advised a defence equipment manufacturer on regulatory compliance and associated patent, design, and trade mark issues.
  • Advised a plastics manufacturer in relation to patent dispute, trade mark dispute, and IP strategy.
