Yuchen is a legal assistant who supports the immigration team. She supports the team with both private and corporate clients.

Yuchen graduated from UCL with Distinction in MA Linguistics and is fluent in both Korean and Mandarin.

Specifically, Yuchen’s responsibilities include sponsor licence applications, Skilled Worker & PBS Dependant applications, Spouse visa, Family visa, and ILR based on 10 Year Long residence and UK citizenship application.

Expertise

Yuchen assists with Skilled Worker and Skilled Worker Dependant visa applications, including document preparation, drafting supporting materials and cover letters, and liaising with clients throughout the application process.

Experience

  • Assisted various UK-based IT and F&B businesses with Skilled Worker visa applications.
  • Supported an employee of a UK–China education group with a Skilled Worker visa application and dependant visa applications for their family members.

Yuchen assists with Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) applications under a range of immigration routes, including Long Residence, Family, Skilled Worker, and Spouse routes.

Experience

  • Assisted on ILR applications including those based on Skilled Worker, Family visas, and BNO route.
  • Supported an individual and their child in obtaining ILR following 10 years’ residence in the UK under the Family route.

Yuchen supports clients with British citizenship and UK passport applications.

Experience

  • Coordinated a British citizenship application for an individual who had previously obtained Indefinite Leave to Remain, including preparing supporting evidence, monitoring application progress, and facilitating the post-naturalisation process.
  • Facilitated a UK passport renewal application for a minor child.

Yuchen supports businesses and individuals on UK immigration matters, including sponsor licence applications, work visas, family migration, settlement, and citizenship applications.

  • Assisted various UK-based IT and F&B businesses with Skilled Worker visa applications for multiple sponsored employees.
  • Supported an employee of a UK–China education group with a Skilled Worker visa application and dependant applications for their spouse and child.
  • Assisted ILR applications including those based on Skilled Worker, Family visas, and BNO route.
  • Supported an individual and their child in obtaining Indefinite Leave to Remain following 10 years’ continuous residence in the UK.
  • Coordinated a British citizenship application for an individual who had previously obtained Indefinite Leave to Remain, including post-naturalisation formalities.
