Tim is a consultant solicitor in our commercial property team, with more than 30 years’ experience in real estate disputes.
He acts for large corporate occupiers, institutional landlords, developers, retailers, hotel and leisure operators, banks, and charities. Tim has extensive experience across both commercial and residential sectors. He has particular expertise in substantial dilapidations claims, break notices, business lease renewals, landlord’s consent issues, rent reviews, Telecommunications Code matters, compulsory purchase, residential enfranchisement, agricultural tenancies, party walls, service charge litigation, and all forms of possession proceedings.
Tim’s clients have included the BT Group plc, Berkeley Homes, Virgin Media, Persimmon Homes, Crest Nicholson, Malmaison, Bellway Homes, Patisserie Valerie, Crocs UK, JD Sports Fashion Plc, CEMEX, Thames Water, Wyldecrest Parks, and Oxford United FC.
Tim acts in substantial and sensitive property litigation matters for both corporate occupiers and high-net-worth individuals, often attracting significant media attention.

Tim advises on complex development challenges and site clearance issues, with particular expertise in restrictive covenants, rights of light, adverse possession, overage, and contractual interpretation.
