He manages transactions from LOI through delivery, including drafting and negotiation of aircraft purchase agreements, lease and financing agreements, operating agreements, aircraft management agreements, and maintenance programs.
In addition to his transactional practice, Emilio advises on aviation fuel and energy-related contracts, including sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) agreements, supply frameworks, and emissions-trading compliance. His work spans airports, logistics providers, and major airlines, combining deep sector knowledge with a practical understanding of sustainability initiatives within the aviation industry.
Emilio has successfully handled over 100 aircraft acquisitions and sales worth more than USD2.5 billion, providing strategic guidance on registration, Cape Town Convention, and International Registry matters across multiple jurisdictions.
He represents clients across Europe, Latin America, Middle East and Asia and regularly attends major international aviation events and conferences. Emilio is admitted in England & Wales and Venezuela and is fluent in Spanish.
