Keystone Law is seeking an exceptional Aviation Finance Associate (approximately 2 years’ post-qualification experience) to join its busy and highly regarded Aviation Finance practice in London. The Role

You will join a dynamic Aviation Finance team, working directly with a leading, directory-ranked partner on a very broad range of sophisticated domestic and cross-border matters, including:

• Operating and finance leasing
• Japanese Operating Lease Financings
• French Tax-based Lease Financings
• Secured and unsecured debt financings
• Export credit backed transactions
• Complex structured finance transactions
• Fleet renewal and procurement work

The client base includes major banks, global lessors, airlines, manufacturers, sovereign entities and export credit agencies. The role offers meaningful responsibility, exceptional client exposure and excellent scope to deepen sector expertise within a collegiate and high-calibre team. You will be encouraged to take ownership of workstreams while benefiting from working directly for partners. For the right candidate, there are excellent career prospects.

Depending on workflow and interests, there may also be opportunities to support other Keystone partners on complementary matters.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Qualification: England & Wales qualified solicitor with approximately 2 years’ post-qualification experience in aviation finance gained at a leading City firm or recognised boutique practice.
• Technical Excellence: Strong drafting and transaction management skills, with a consistently high level of attention to detail.
• Commercial Acumen: A practical, solutions-driven approach and the ability to understand and anticipate client objectives.
• Communication Skills: Clear, confident written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills and client presence.
• Drive and Initiative: A proactive, organised and resilient mindset, comfortable taking responsibility and managing competing priorities.
• Academic Background: A strong and consistent academic record.
