  • Acted for a Greek ship-owning group in relation to the restructuring of the group.
  • Advised a Greek ship-owning group on a US$143 million refinancing project with a French financial institution in relation to seven dry bulk carriers, involving inter alia the negotiation of a junior bond subscription agreement and various intercreditor arrangements.
  • Advised a Greek ship-owning group on a $34 million refinancing of four chemical tankers by a New York-headquartered and highly reputable global asset manager.
  • Acted for a Greek financial institution on the amendment of a $85 million term loan facility entered into by a reputable Greek shipowner to deal with bareboat chartering arrangements in Latin America.
  • Advised a Greek ship-owning group in relation to the group’s reorganisation and the structuring of a tanker pool, assisted with the negotiation of a pool-backed revolving credit facility entered into with a multinational investment bank.
  • Acted for a Greek-based operator on the negotiation of its slot agreements, bills of lading and freight forwarding agreements, and advised on related disputes.

  • Advised the Greek Government in relation to the successful privatisation of Olympic Airways.

  • Advised the sponsors and project company in relation to the project financing of the Thessaloniki Submerged Tunnel in Northern Greece.

  • Acted for a Greek construction company in the energy sector in a dispute with its Dutch counterparty under a subcontract agreement, in a project involving piping and other equipment fabrication, erection and installation in the Netherlands.
  • Resolved a high-value dispute between a Russian Government entity and a Greek shipowner.
