Keystone is a firm that was founded upon a desire to do things differently. The original concept was to build a law firm in which lawyers could focus on working with clients, free from management obligations and administrative distractions, whilst being helped by teams of people who are there to support them. The concept endures to this day.
Keystone Law is a multiple award-winning Top 50 UK firm that continues to make waves in the legal sector. Our lawyers are ranked in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, and in November 2020, we were named Law Firm of the Year at the prestigious “The Lawyer Awards”, the ultimate accolade in the legal profession. In January 2021, Keystone was also crowned Happiest Law Firm of the Year by RollOnFriday. Keystone lawyers are known to be some of the most satisfied and driven individuals in the legal profession.
We are seeking a solicitor to join the busy employment team led by a leading employment partner. This role requires a strong background in employment law advising both individuals and organisations, with a particular focus on advisory matters with some contentious experience. Experience should include appointments and terminations for senior executives, grievances and disciplinaries, discrimination and whistleblowing claims. The partner’s practice involves advising a diverse client base, including senior executives and SME clients across various sectors. The team includes a virtual assistant and 3 year PQE junior associate. Experience supporting corporate deals and advising on LLP/partnership law is desirable but not essential and interest in these areas is important.
The role would suit an applicant with a minimum of 8PQE, and experience gained at a reputable regional or London firm. The applicant should have a proven track record of managing client relationships and working inter-department across teams.
Applicants should be someone who can “hit the ground running,” have excellent communication skills and be confident to attend client meetings and contribute to business development events.
They will also be a strong team player who is happy to provide support to colleagues, work independently and remotely, whilst meeting deadlines and maintaining excellent attention to detail. The role offers flexibility, with remote working, and occasional time spent working in Keystone’s London office on Chancery Lane.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to join a growing team in what is probably the UK’s happiest law firm.
If you have the skills and experience we are looking for and would enjoy working for an expanding and forward-thinking law firm, then please get in touch today!
