An experienced intellectual property and information technology solicitor, Maureen works across a wide variety of sectors including life sciences, charity, education, and information technology. Her practice spans a broad range of commercial and research agreements. Maureen specialises in facilitating knowledge transfer between research organisations and industry, advising on matters including licences, research collaborations, research grant terms, and revenue sharing. In addition to her experience in private practice, Maureen spent three years in-house with Cancer Research UK.
Maureen’s clients include research institutes, charities that fund research, private and public companies, and individuals.
Having been a member of the Knowledge Exchange UK training committee for 10 years, she continues to provide training on knowledge transfer courses.
