Keystone Law Isle of Man appoints Consultant Advocate Katherine Garrood

Keystone Law is pleased to welcome Katherine Garrood to its Isle of Man team of market leading experts. 

Katherine joins Keystone as a Consultant Advocate from Appleby, bringing with her extensive legal experience. She advises financial institutions, banks, insurers, fund managers, corporate service providers and private equity investors on a broad range of regulatory, corporate and commercial matters.  

Her expertise includes financial services regulation, banking and finance, investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, corporate governance, shareholder agreements, and commercial contracts. She has extensive experience advising on cross-border financial services, change of control applications, anti-money laundering compliance, data protection and payment services.  

Katherine has acted on a number of significant Isle of Man and international transactions, including major life insurance sector deals, private equity-backed management buyouts, investment fund restructurings and complex cross-border corporate reorganisations. She also advises listed companies and regulated businesses on Isle of Man legal and regulatory matters.  

A recognised specialist in the financial services and digital assets sectors, Katherine is a former Chair of the Isle of Man Wealth and Fund Services Association and continues to lead regulatory affairs for the association.
