Keystone Law has welcomed six partners in its latest hiring round. Gabe Harley, Mirjam Schorr, Pav Samothrakis, Roopa Ahluwalia, Simon Oldfield and Natasha Forman will add to the firm’s highly established Commercial, Employment, Family, Insurance, Marine & Shipping, and Restructuring & Insolvency practices.

The new joiners are:
Gabe Harley – Restructuring & Insolvency
Gabe is a restructuring and insolvency lawyer, with significant experience advising debtors, creditors and management teams on cross-border debt restructurings and insolvencies. She has expertise in complex cross-border recapitalisation transactions, UK restructuring and insolvency processes such as restructuring plans, schemes of arrangement, administrations and Company Voluntary Arrangements as well as out-of-court, consensual transactions in distressed scenarios. Her clients include investment funds, hedge funds and private equity houses.
Gabe moved to Keystone from Kirkland & Ellis, where she was a Partner.
Mirjam is an English and German qualified insurance lawyer and litigator with over 20 years’ experience in conducting and resolving complex disputes, many of which have cross-border elements. Her key areas of expertise are insurance/reinsurance, product liability, construction, and general commercial disputes. She also frequently advises insurers on policy coverage under both English and German law.
Mirjam was a Partner at Kennedys Law before joining Keystone.
Pav Samothrakis – Marine & Shipping
Pav is a marine, offshore and energy lawyer who advises offshore contractors and service providers, shipowners, charterers, cargo interests and insurers in the offshore energy, shipping and international trade sectors. His practice has a focus on the Middle East, African and Caspian markets.
He has particular expertise in energy and offshore matters and negotiates and advises on all the main forms of industry contracts including under the BIMCO, LOGIC and FIDIC forms.
Pav has joined the firm from BDM Law where he was a Partner.
Roopa is a qualified family mediator and collaborative lawyer. She has significant expertise negotiating financial settlements on behalf of clients who are divorcing or separating and acting on complex children issues. Her cases often have international elements or third-party interests, such as family trusts and prenuptial agreements.
Roopa was a Partner at HCR Hewitsons before joining Keystone.
Simon is a commercial lawyer with almost 20 years’ experience of working inside the art world and creative industries. He advises global galleries, art collectors, artists and other creatives, ultra-high-net-worth individuals and technology-driven art businesses.
Simon provides strategic legal and commercial consultancy, advises on commercial contracts, intellectual property rights and copyright issues. He also advises on the legal implications of new technologies like blockchain, digital assets, smart contracts and AI.
Simon began his legal career at BCLP before moving on to hold a number of senior in-house positions within the art world whilst also running a highly successful advisory business.
Natasha acts for both employers and senior executives, including regulated professionals. She has particular expertise in employment litigation and disputes involving complex whistleblowing and discrimination issues.
Natasha is dual-qualified in England & Wales and Australia and works with clients in a variety of sectors, from financial services, media and entertainment, law firms and other professional services firms, to retail and luxury brands.
Natasha joins Keystone from Kingsley Napley, where she was a Senior Associate.
