Keystone Law hospitality partner Alyona Antonenko has advised the owner of the Billesley Manor Hotel on the new hotel management agreement with the management company TROO Hospitality.
Set in 11 acres of Warwickshire parkland, Billesley Manor Hotel is a Grade II listed building which has heritage dating back to 1327. Once referenced in the Domesday Book, the grounds feature an 11th century church and an ornate topiary garden, which was planted over 130 years ago to replicate a chess board from Alice in Wonderland. It was here that William Shakespeare put ink to paper and wrote the play ‘As You Like It’ and his granddaughter wed and it is reputed that he did too when he married Anne Hathaway.
Commenting on the deal, Shashank Bhagat, Chairman of B i Group which co-owns Billesley Manor Hotel, said:
“Thanks to Alyona’s sound advice and support, we were able to get this agreement across the line in record time. We are looking forward to working with the team at TROO Hospitality to make this amazing hotel even better by providing the very best experience to our guests.”
Alyna Antonenko added:
“I was delighted to negotiate the hotel management agreement on behalf of my client in relation to such a great property. It is an exciting time for the hotel, and I believe that the management on the new terms, which reflects the shared vision of the owner and the new manager, will benefit the hotel tremendously.”
