A multi-disciplinary team of Keystone lawyers have advised FDB Systems Limited on the agreement to sell its entire share capital to Insig AI plc for approximately £10 million.
FDB Systems specialises in the collection and structuring of financial market data for investors and other capital markets participants.
Insig AI plc, the data science and machine learning solutions company, will combine FDB Systems’ data ingestion and structuring technology with its existing storage, visualisation and machine learning optimisation capabilities to offer a complete end-to-end financial data solution to its customers.
The Keystone Law team advising FDB Systems on this transaction included corporate solicitor Florian Albert, corporate partners JP Irvine and Will Nash, employment partner Emma Clark, tax solicitor Michael Fluss, and trainee solicitor Sophie Welbourn.
Simon Mahony, CEO and co-founder of FDB Systems (now managing Director of Insig AI PLC), commented:
“We had a great experience working with Keystone Law on our transaction. All the lawyers we worked with were excellent but in particular we really appreciated the guidance of JP and Florian who ably navigated us through an unfamiliar and at times stressful process. We’d like to extend our thanks to the entire team and we wouldn’t hesitate to use Keystone again in the future.”
JP Irvine added:
“It was a huge pleasure to advise the team at FDB on this transaction to combine two very complementary businesses. Working with my colleagues, and especially Florian who led the charge for the whole team, ensured we could provide the client with high-quality advice, tailored to their needs. I look forward to seeing the integrated business flourish.”
