The daughter of island star Lee Dixon and Everton FC U16’s player Ella Dixon has received further backing from Keystone Law Isle of Man director, Gillian Christian, as her budding career goes from strength to strength.
The former Manchester United player has been supported by Keystone Law IOM since 2016 and has so far received £4,000, in total, to help cover the extensive costs of travelling to and from training. Since arriving at Everton, Ella has played a pivotal role in the U16’s unbeaten run, helping the club maintain its spot at the top of the league. Her most recent achievement was winning woman of the match in a spectacular 6-1 win over Stoke City
Anyone who would like to offer financial or logistical support, should please contact Lee Dixon on 482423.
Ella isn’t the only youngster to receive sponsorship from the Douglas-based firm which set up a community scheme, in early 2016, to provide youngster with greater sports opportunities as well as progression routes. To date, other initiatives have included sponsorship of the Braddan school girls football team, Manx Letterbox Trail funding, support for young rugby international Bevan Rodd and sponsorship of motorcross prodigy TJ Teare.
“Ella continues to be a natural choice for sponsorship as she is incredibly talented, hardworking and a fantastic advocate for homegrown talent,” commented Gillian Christian. Keystone IOM is delighted to extend our support to help cultivate her footballing career while working towards fostering a stronger sports ecosystem, for young people, on the island.
