Keystone Law Isle of Man has advised in respect of the first debt listings, totalling c. £40 million, by Isle of Man special purpose vehicles (SPVs) on The International Stock Exchange (TISE) since the Exchange opened its Isle of Man office in 2017.
TISE is a leading market in specialist debt, with in excess of 1,500 listed debt securities with a combined face or issue value of more than £250 billion. Keystone Law has worked closely with TISE since it established an office on the Isle of Man, in order to encourage, promote and facilitate the use of the Exchange as a listing venue and Isle of Man companies as listing vehicles.
The Keystone Isle of Man transaction team was led by Geoff Kermeen, with Hazel Dawson advising in respect of the TISE debt listing. The team worked closely on the deal with Isle of Man listing agent, IQ EQ (Isle of Man) Limited.
Keystone Law Isle of Man Managing Director, Geoff Kermeen, said of the deal:
“It has been an honour to assist and work with some of our most valued clients and intermediaries in respect of the initial Isle of Man incorporated SPV debt listings on TISE since the Exchange opened an office in our jurisdiction. We very much expect that they will be the first of many.”
Carolyn Gelling, Head of the Isle of Man Office of The International Stock Exchange Group, said:
“We are very pleased to be chosen as the listing exchange in relation to this transaction. I am also delighted that it involves the use of Isle of Man companies, that they are supported by members of the Island’s professional services community, such as Keystone Law, and that they have been brought to the market by our newest Isle of Man listing agent, IQ EQ (Isle of Man) Limited.”
