Sungjin is a leading employment lawyer for multinational companies in the UK including major South Korean multinationals, with a particular sector focus on Technology, Financial Services, and Hospitality.
He advises employers on termination, redundancy, restrictive covenants and TUPE. Sungjin frequently conducts successful cases in Employment Tribunals, handling discrimination, whistleblowing, and employee status issues as well as negotiating settlements for employers.
Sungjin also specialises in advising senior executives on employment contracts, discrimination, negotiating exits, financial settlements, mediating disputes and whistleblowing issues.
Business immigration is another dynamic practice area for Sungjin. He frequently advises international businesses in various sectors on business immigration needs, focusing on visa and sponsor licence applications, sponsorship management system (SMS) and advising on transactions with TUPE implications.
