Nadine is a senior associate specialising in commercial and residential real estate and real property disputes. She advises, mediates, and litigates on various contentious real estate issues, including rent and service charge disputes, forfeiture, statutory lease renewals and terminations, claims for breach of covenant, boundary disputes, dilapidations, unauthorised alterations and enforcing terms in property contracts.
Nadine acts on insolvency matters, dealing with both individual bankruptcy and company insolvency.
She regularly acts for tenants, landlords, and major commercial office owners in the City, retailers and hotels/hospitality operators, as well as RTM companies.

Experience
- Assisted with the successful appeal in the High Court in the matter of Jacobs v Chalcot Crescent (Management) Company Ltd, which related to the client seeking a declaration that his landlord had unreasonably withheld its consent for alterations to his Primrose Hill property.
- Acted for Mary Boakye in the Court of Appeal case of Kensquare Ltd v Boakye [2021], which concerned the interpretation of provisions in a long-term residential lease regarding interim service charge demands and legal costs.
- Successfully represented the appellant in the leading decision on the powers of receivers in mortgagor-occupied properties: Menon & Menon v Pask & Goode [2020], which was a landmark decision affecting how receivers bring actions against mortgagor-occupied properties.
- Acted for a specialist property real estate investment trust (REIT), which owned a number of shopping centres, in respect of rent and service charge recovery.
- Acted for multiple leaseholders in a complex and long-standing Right to Manage application in the First-Tier Tribunal, whilst successfully defending various breach of determination applications issued against the leaseholders and recovering costs.
- Acted for various landlords in relation to the recovery of commercial property including claims against trespassers, squatters, licensees and service occupancies.
