Keystone is a firm founded upon a desire to do things differently. The original concept was to build a law firm in which lawyers could focus on working with clients, free from management obligations and administrative distractions, whilst being helped by teams of people who are there to support them. The concept endures to this day.

Keystone Law is a multiple award-winning Top 50 UK firm that continues to make waves in the legal sector. Our lawyers are ranked in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, and in November 2020, we were named Law Firm of the Year at the prestigious The Lawyer Awards, the ultimate accolade in the legal profession. In January 2021, Keystone was also crowned Happiest Law Firm of the Year by RollOnFriday. Keystone lawyers are known to be some of the most satisfied and driven individuals in the legal profession.

One of our property litigation partners, Ed John, is recruiting for a Graduate Legal Apprentice to join his busy team of 4 lawyers (two senior associates, two paralegals). The team provides support to clients with property disputes at the very highest levels.  All courses and examinations required for the apprentice to qualify as a solicitor are fully funded.

The role would suit an applicant committed to developing a career in law, who will thrive with excellent supervision and support but who may not wish to incur the substantial amount of debt for the professional courses and exams required to achieve qualification.

The candidate must be proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, Outlook, have excellent people skills, be adaptable and flexible as well as able quickly to learn new ways of working.

Initially the work will include client inception, on-boarding new matters, scheduling meetings, undertaking company and Land Registry searches and file management which the apprentice should be able within a short time to undertake with minimal supervision. There will also be tasks which will be more closely supervised related to legal research, drafting and advisory work. In addition, the candidate will also be required to support the team’s learning and development.  The role is based in the City of London at our offices in Chancery Lane, near the Royal Courts of Justice, with the possibility of flexible working at the successful completion of a probationary period.
