One of the UK’s most talked-about law firms is looking for a Marketing and Business Development Executive to join our award-winning team. This vibrant and dynamic team would suit someone who has experience in a professional services environment and would like a role where they have more responsibility and autonomy to drive forward projects which have a real impact on the business for which they would be recognised. The small but powerful marketing team works on a range of projects to raise the profile of the firm and support over 400 lawyers.

We are looking for someone who is passionate, ambitious, and full of energy, someone who brings creativity and fresh ideas, always seeking ways to enhance our work. This role requires excellent organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects whilst balancing daily deadlines.

You are confident working independently as the majority of the time you will be working remotely, although you can work in the London office if you prefer and there is plenty of support from other members of the team available on video calls etc.

You are tenacious, committed to seeing projects through to completion, and emotionally intelligent, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different individuals and personalities.

Duties

  • Working alongside the Business Development Manager and Senior Marketing & Business Development Executive to create pitches, proposals and bespoke marketing documents/brochures
  • Maintaining the current client list that is approved to be used for marketing purposes
  • Maintaining the team’s pitch successes database
  • Collating key pitch documents (insurance certificates, fee structures etc.)
  • Working with the team to come up with new ideas and campaigns to reach clients and potential lawyers
  • Attending and assisting the monthly CPD networking sessions with the marketing team to raise the team’s profile and support lawyers
  • Attending and assisting with all events run internally in our London office to raise the lawyers’ profiles in their given area
  • Assisting and organising our merchandise stock for events and maintaining our online merchandise store in the London office
  • Assisting with legal directory submission tasks for Chambers UK, The Legal 500 and others as and when required
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required


Ideal applicants will be able to demonstrate

  • A background and interest in business development and marketing within professional services would be advantageous
  • High level of written English, especially spelling and grammar
  • Confident with computers and very good knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience of InDesign would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent organisational skills – must be able to multi-task and manage a range of activities in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ability to be a team player as well as work autonomously where required
  • Can-do attitude and high attention to detail
  • Ability to think outside of the box and have a creative streak
