Keystone is a firm that was founded upon a desire to do things differently. The original concept was to build a law firm in which lawyers could focus on working with clients, free from management obligations and administrative distractions, whilst being helped by teams of people who are there to support them. The concept endures to this day.

Keystone Law is a multiple award-winning Top 50 UK firm that continues to make waves in the legal sector. Our lawyers are ranked in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, and in November 2020, we were named Law Firm of the Year at the prestigious The Lawyer Awards, the ultimate accolade in the legal profession. In January 2021, Keystone was also crowned Happiest Law Firm of the Year by RollOnFriday. Keystone lawyers are known to be some of the most satisfied and driven individuals in the legal profession.

One of our partners, Jonathan Watmough, is recruiting for a consultant solicitor to join his busy professional negligence team. His clients are varied but are invariably established businesses, other professionals or high-net-worth individuals.

This fee-earning role would suit an applicant with a minimum of 10 years PQE, who has extensive experience of acting for claimants and/or defendants in professional negligence claims. The role will involve working on relatively high value and often complex claims against a variety of professionals, including solicitors, accountants, insurance brokers and surveyors. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and to a very high standard. The role does not require candidates to generate work but is likely to involve some business development activity.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate wanting the challenge and reward of good quality work within a directory-endorsed team, but also the added lifestyle benefits that remote working and flexible hours can provide.

If you feel you have the skills and experience we are looking for and would also enjoy working for an expanding and forward-thinking law firm, then please get in touch today.
